After a 2 year gap, the band once again made the long-haul trip to the Saddleworth moors to take part in the annual Whit Walks in Greenfield village and to compete in the Whit Friday marching contests held at the many villages in that part of the world. We chose a medley of Jungle Book tunes for our road march and Bramwyn as our contest march. Here's a round up of how we got on:

• Delph: 18th out of 75
• Greenfield:2nd place 3rd section band, 28th overall
• Lees & Springhead: 30th out of 42

  Our best result of the day being...

• Dobcross: 9th out of 47 & 2nd best 3rd section band of the day

At the bar that evening it was evident that we had another enjoyable day overall, but Saints will not now be back at the Whits until 2007.
