Most memorable playing moment …
Playing my first solo, Sugar Blues at the age of 14. I was on second cornet with Watford Band and it gave me the confidence and experience to want to progress playing.

Proudest banding moment …
I am proud to have played with so many talented and wonderful people who have encouraged me and helped me to evolve as a musician and increase my standard of playing.

There are so many, but my favourite solo to play on horn is Demelza.
Favourite pieces also currently include: Macarthur Park, Sir Duke, Penny Lane, Eleanor Rigby and Caravan though this is a much bigger list and I keep adding to it!

Musical ambition …
I always look to improve to become the best musician I can be.
